BAIER - A Brief History
1938
Foundation of the company. During the following years, cutting-edge innovations and constructions paved the way to a successful future.
1950
The first electric hand-held metal saw was developed and patents were secured at home
and abroad.
1953
BAIER started the production of the world's first percussion drill.
1957
The BAIER wall chasing machine was introduced. A world first.
1959
Design and production of rotary and chipping hammers was launched.
1966
Product range modifications and introduction of plaster miller and electric hand-held
chipping hammers.
1972
The BAIER face milling machine has set a new standard in renovating buildings.
1975
The advanced range of percussion drills is developed up to the highest standard.
The new generation of light eletropneumatic rotary hammers with pistol grip was introduced.
1980
Market introduction of a successful range of BAIER mixers.
1984
Introduction of the new BAIER wall chaser BMF 500.
1988
The 50th anniversary was the break-through with BAIER diamond drilling machines and
BAIER diamond channel cutters.
1992
BAIER developed the first diamond dry core drilling machine with soft percussion.
BAIER Scandinavia joins the daughter companies in Italy and France.
1994
The successful diamond tools program was completed and further developed.
